We have updated our Cookie Policy, effective June 15, 2026. Your continued use of the website, app, and services on or after that date signifies your acceptance of the updated Cookie Policy.
Cookie Policy 🍪
Goosechase Adventures Inc. Cookie Policy
Goosechase uses cookies and similar technologies for several purposes, including:
Where these cookies apply. Goosechase delivers its Service across three browser-based surfaces: (a) the marketing pages on goosechase.com and content subdomains operated by Goosechase, including the Goosechase blog at blog.goosechase.com, whose audience is composed of adults across a wide range of contexts, including, but not limited to, educators, district and school administrators, higher-education staff, corporate L&D buyers, nonprofit and faith-community leaders, government and public-sector buyers, and other organisational decision-makers, and on which the third-party advertising cookies described in §2 may fire (subject to your opt-in); (b) the Studio at studio.goosechase.com, the Creator-facing surface used by adults across the same range of contexts described in (a), to create and operate Experiences; and (c) the participant Web App, the browser-based surface that lets participants above the age of thirteen take part in an Experience.
The categories of cookies described below apply differently across these three surfaces. The advertising cookies in §2 are loaded on the marketing pages on goosechase.com after you opt in. The Studio at studio.goosechase.com loads the same advertising tag stack as the marketing pages on goosechase.com. Because the two surfaces share the goosechase.com cookie domain, your advertising-cookie opt-in or opt-out on the marketing pages governs both surfaces: if you have not opted in (or have subsequently opted out) on goosechase.com, the advertising cookies described in §2 are not set on the Studio either. No advertising cookies are loaded on the participant Web App, regardless of any opt-in you may have made on other surfaces.
Amongst other things, this three-tier framework reflects the audience commitments in our Student Privacy Policy §2.2 and §6.4, and the SOPIPA §22584(b)(1) prohibition on advertising to K–12 students.
Goosechase also operates other content surfaces under the goosechase.com domain, including support.goosechase.com (our help centre) and join.goosechase.com (used for participant join links). These surfaces do not independently load the third-party advertising tags described in §2, but they share the goosechase.com apex cookie domain with the marketing pages. As a result, any advertising-cookie opt-in or opt-out you have made on the marketing pages governs whether the cookies described in §2 are effective when you visit these surfaces, and none of these surfaces show their own cookie consent prompt, the prompt on the marketing pages is the single point of consent control across all goosechase.com surfaces.

2. Advertising
We use “tracking” cookies to collect data about your online activity and identify your interests so that we can provide advertising that is most relevant to you as you browse the Internet, including through the use of third-party advertisers. These cookies track your browsing activity to measure marketing and ad performance, as well as enable third-party advertising networks to deliver relevant ads to you on other websites. You will be asked to opt in to receive these cookies and can update your settings at any time. Moreover, third parties, including Facebook, may use cookies, web beacons, and other storage technologies to collect or receive personal data through the Service and elsewhere on the internet and use that information to provide measurement services and targeted ads. In particular, we use the following advertising cookies when you have opted-in:

3. Opt-out preference signals
Goosechase does not sell personal information in exchange for monetary or other valuable consideration, and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. These positions apply regardless of any signal a visitor’s browser sends. Even so, where a visitor’s browser sends a valid Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we recognise and honour the signal as a matter of policy and as a confirmation of the opt-out contemplated by California Civil Code §1798.135(b)(3) and parallel provisions in other state laws that recognise browser-level opt-out signals (including Colorado and Connecticut). Where a visitor accesses the Service through the marketing pages on goosechase.com, the Studio at studio.goosechase.com, or the participant Web App, we detect and honour the Sec-GPC HTTP header on each request, and the GPC signal will deactivate the advertising cookies described in §2 on that visitor’s device and browser.
4. Do Not Sell
At Goosechase, we maintain a strong commitment to refrain from selling any personal information or user data.
Data Transferred to Third Parties: Any data transferred to third parties is strictly non-identifying and is used solely for app functionality purposes. This data will never be sold or shared.
Experience Information: Personal information and user-generated content submitted during experiences may be accessible to Experience Creators. However, we do not disclose or transfer personal information to third parties without consent. Furthermore, we pledge never to sell any of this content or information.
Voluntarily Provided Information: Any personal information voluntarily provided during account creation, customer care interactions, direct payments, or user surveys remains the property of Goosechase Adventures Inc. We guarantee that such information will neither be sold nor shared. Similarly, any collected data, including Technical Data, Transaction Data, and Usage Data, is exclusively used for functional purposes, demographic analysis, and overall service improvement and will never be sold or shared.
5. AI feature analytics
When you use AI-supported features in the Service, we may store non-cookie identifiers and event data describing how the feature is used, for example, the number of prompts submitted, the latency of responses, and whether a response was accepted or rejected. This information is used in aggregate to operate, secure, and improve the feature. This event data itself does not include the content of your prompts, the AI-generated outputs, or the names or other personal information of participants; how prompt content is separately stored and handled is described in our AI Use Policy §5.1 and Privacy Policy §2.7(c). We do not share this event data with our AI service providers for any purpose other than providing the AI feature itself, and we do not use it for advertising. The full list of AI service providers and the specific data flows is described in our AI Use Policy and on our Sub-processors page.
